Matthew Hissong rated it it was amazing Apr 09, Many of the Hebrew letters are difficult to distinguish as the previous reviewer notes. No trivia or quizzes yet. Yet the Greek commonly in use, rather than the classical Greekwas written by Peter the unlearned fisherman, Luke the learned Physician, and by Paul the trained theologian.
I do recommend however to have more than one lexicon or dictionary to reference to get a broader understanding of things. I agree with the benefits and usefulness of this book that most other reviewers have written.

Green’s Literal Translation
I’ve been thinking about this, and Inferlinear guess it obviously is “just another translation” Sven, The perfect combo is a personal thing I guess. But as far as the ‘content’ is concerned and its value as a good study tool, I would give it a much higher rating. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. This makes this a useful tool for folks regardless of geen they have Hebrew or Greek training.

Matter of preference I think. If you are wanting to get a resource that you can see the literal translation into English from the Hebrew and Greek, then this is a fantastic option for you.

Sense words words added by the translator to make a sentence more intelligible are kept to an absolute minimum without sacrificing readability, and when used are always bracketed so that you know which words are God’s and which are the translator’s.

You won’t find a more literal rendition of the very words of God in any other version not interilnear in the NASB! It’s not all hokus-pokus, it takes study, prayer, and reason to make sense of all these different translations.
