The author created a true story, with real characters, real places, and for Gods sake, a real lenguaje and normal sexual tension!!!! My initial impression of him at the ending of the book was anger, fury, hatred, v.j.chabers know all those raw negative types of feelings, yeah he got under my skin with his little innocent act, always going against Azazel for helping Jason out, ugh, just go die in a hole already, man. Which by the way, this book is supposed to be part one in a trilogy, but the way Breathless ends seems like it should just be the one book.

V. J. Chambers

Oh how I didn’t like you from the start. Her friends and family have conspired to use her as a pawn in a violent scheme. They all started to say things that I thought weren’t too realistic.

I thought this story was very cute. I get that they were trying to rape her and kill Jason, but sheesh! She was faithful, confident and completely understanding and sympathetic to other characters if they needed it.

But I was raised in a very breathles, religious home where things were not quite right and I suppose, I had the same attitude. However, the book does a complete flip-flop.

The writing is solid and not overly dramatic. The one thing I didn’t like: Threats of Satanic rituals, rape, and murder send Azazel and Jason down a dangerous path as they both try v.n.chambers find truths that may bt left unfound — but they don’t really have a choice. Making the sign of the cross and throwing a healthy dose of Holy water around my bed didn’t hurt either. Enter Jason, the super-mysterious boy who literally bounds into Azazel’s life on a dark, desolate stretch of road one night.

Feb 18, Aubrey rated it really liked it Shelves: I’m always a little leery of indie authors because the quality of the writing is usually sub-par, in my opinion. Preview — Breathless by V.

This is one of those books that crosses over- paranormal, urban fantasy, thriller, YA, adult, romance, horror, apocalypse, conspiracy, adventure, and more. I am falling for Jason. However, my interest was slightly peaked at the end of the story so that I might just look into breathless the second and third installments.

I would rather cut my own tongue out than recommend this toilet diarrhea water to anyone. Jason constantly fears for her family as he believes his presence in her home is a danger to everyone as he escaped from a v.j.cha,bers society called The Sons of the Breathlesw Son. I’m not saying that ya’ll are horrible for being Catholics and stuff because you’re not, I’m just saying, don’t give this book a bad review because you’re scared that because you read it you’ve been violated by Satan’s devils and they’ll possess you.

We have a hot, mysterious, dark male, holding the age of eighteen.

Azazel and Jason do not move in a good v. But when Jason runs in front of her boyfriend’s truck, things change.

Breathless by V.J. Chambers – FictionDB

As no facts about Jason are learned literally — no one seems to find any proof of his existencelittle clues that something just ain’t right in town keep getting thrown in Azazel’s face. I will definitely be picking up the author’s thriller soon, as I did love her writing style, but I doubt that I will pick up the rest of Jason and Azazel’s trilogy although I am tempted Where has this book been in my indie author wanderings? Overall, this book was horrible, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone In that genre I find it completely inappropriate.

Everything was spilled out all at once, explained in a rush, and practically forced down to swallow. Yes, that’s right girls. This is actually a plus in this situation, and what makes it so hard to put down. Also, I felt like her reactions to seeing people she loved shot and killed in front of her were a bit too ho-hum. Azazel lives her life in a small town. I will say of the smattering of the YA books I have read, this one was the most enjoyable although I would not want my daughter to read it, at least not at this age.

I won’t be reading any more of this series. I think it’s brilliant. Overall, a great read. She tries so hard to figure out what the hell is going on, but she’s always “just that short” of the truth.

f.j.chambers I don’t even know how to categorize this. I really loved this book. Jason stays, though he is constantly warning the Jones family that he is v.j.chambeers their lives in danger because people are after him.

Sep 19, Tini Athanasopoulos rated it it was ok. Plus, she whined a lot. It all went downhill so fast. Should have known there was a reason this book was free for Kindle – sometimes you get what you don’t pay f Who is giving this book so many 4 and 5 star review here and on Amazon? Anti-Christ and Messiah sitting in a tree However, there were a few times when they meet up with Hallam and again with another character who’s name I can’t recall where there was too much rambling, I thought however, that could just be my impatience it just v.j.chambefs to take too long to get to the explanations that were promised.

I seriously could not put this down.
