Starting a campaign soon and need advice about beastmen. Never played mordheim before so be as basic as you like, don’t presume I’ll know. Is there an errata anywhere for the Beastmen Raiders warband from the Empire In Flames document? As it stands, the equipment list is. We’re returning to Mordheim after probably a 2 or 3 year gap, and I’m trying something we’ve never used in Mord, Beastmen. So I’m looking for.

Beastmen Raiders Mordheim Warband – Imgur
Your houserules won’t change anything, wafband of attacks is superior in Mordheim. Some of them are new, such us the warhounds or the chieftain, but other are too old and badlike the Centigor or the Shaman. Helmets would be a good idea as well. Mad ‘At Dumb enough to work Staff member. Also, you can take bbeastmen slow if it’s safer, if you move into partial cover, and didn’t run, you can use the hide rule to be able to not be shot at at all. Unfortunately, they are so expensive!

I just used to load up with heavy armor, shields movement, especially with sprint, will make up for -1 move and halberds to survive shooting, then killed everyone. A cross between Cluedo and a roleplay, sometimes gory and often hilarious!

Kind of really broken. Beastman Warband – what do I take? Spells Minotaurs heroes are gigantic, bull-headed Beastmen, both fearsome and powerful.
Beastmen have no shooting, so you need to get to the enemy fast and try not to die on the way there. Plus, if you get knocked down, you can roll behind the cover to be fully covered and not able to be shot. Definitely push for as much terrain as you can get on the table as it will do nothing but benefit you as you have no shooting whatsoever.

The low leadership 7 makes it easier for your Beastmen warband to route, but there is a way around that with the Beastman special skill “Bellowing Roar”, which allows you to beastmsn any fails route tests.
